Acrylic and wax pastel 

While I was living in New York, I loved spending time at the Met. The Egyptian wing was one of my favorite places to visit, and I've carried that inspiration with me for years. Although I love the hieroglyphics, symbolism, and decorative elements, for these pieces I wanted to focus on the figures themselves and merge them with my love of plants.
